POROUS is looking for a student with a background in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or similar. The position can be arranged as a working student position (10 or 20 hours per week) or an internship.
Your role and responsibilities:
- Assist all teams in providing technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network-related issues
- Set up computers and workspaces for new employees
- Assist in the setup and maintenance of network infrastructure
- Administrate accounts, including Office365, to ensure proper access and security
- Support in managing and maintaining the company’s server infrastructure, including backups, security measures, and updates
- Assist with IT onboarding and offboarding processes for employees
- Deploy and maintain software applications and tools
- Collaborate with team members to document IT processes, procedures, and best practices, promoting knowledge sharing and efficiency
Your skills:
- Currently enrolled as a student in a relevant IT-related program
- Strong passion for technology and a desire to learn and grow in the IT field
- A good understanding of IT network infrastructure
- Hands-on mentality and excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with good communication and interpersonal skills
- Fluent in English
Nice to have:
- Previous experience in IT support or related roles is a plus but not required
- Fluent in German
